So, a quick update on my last post.
Got seen by the Doc at the hospital earlier on and yep...it's a full-blown humdinger of a relapse.
They wanted to rig me up to IV steroids straight away, but I ask for oral steroids instead. Even though the process is longer, with Si away and no person to really drive me, it would have been a real clat getting to and from the hospital for the next few days.
So hey ho. Hopefully I can get on the road to recovery this evening with 500mg of steroids seeping into me. Not looking forward to the obligatory metallic taste in my mouth. Blleeeuurrghhh.
